Mark Thornley
Mark leads Heathfield Primary School, a one-form entry school in Bolton. He’s been using Intelligent Evidence as part of his self-evaluation process and recently came through his first Ofsted inspection under the new 2025 framework. He’ll be speaking honestly about the experience – including what worked, what he’d do differently, and what gave him confidence when it mattered most.

Steve Kirkpatrick
Steve built Intelligent Evidence because he’d seen first-hand how much time school leaders spend gathering and organising evidence – time that could be spent leading the school. As a former headteacher and lead inspector, he understands both sides of the inspection process and will be drawing on that experience to guide the conversation with Mark.
