We know how important data protection is in schools. Intelligent Evidence has been designed with GDPR at its heart, so you can use it with confidence.
How we handle your data
Hosted in the UK
All storage, databases, and systems run in Microsoft’s UK South region.
Briefly processed
To perform fundamental functions, we use Open AI’s models, therefore document contents are briefly processed in Sweden.
Safe & secure
All data is encrypted. Nothing is stored or kept by OpenAI or Microsoft after processing.
No training
The AI does not learn from, or build on, your documents outside of Intelligent Evidence.
You stay in control
You choose what to upload, and you can delete data at any time. We act only as your data processor.
For extra peace of mind, we strongly recommend that any documents uploaded to Intelligent Evidence are anonymised wherever possible (removing names or identifiers) before being added to the platform.
GDPR compliance
Sweden is part of the European Economic Area (EEA) and is recognised by the UK Government as having adequate data protection laws under UK GDPR. We maintain a full Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA), Data Processing Agreement (DPA), and audit logs. These are available to share with your governors, trust, or Data Protection Officer on request.
