Steve is a respected former headteacher and lead Ofsted inspector who’s spent years on both sides of the table — leading a school through inspection, and carrying inspections out himself.
He knows first-hand how demanding and time-consuming evidence collation can be. He’s helped build the tool he wished he’d had back then.

Former Lead Ofsted Inspector
Steve Kirkpatrick brings extensive experience in education leadership and inspection. As a former Lead Ofsted Inspector, he conducted inspections across schools and further education settings, building deep expertise in teaching quality, leadership, and safeguarding standards.
Since leaving Ofsted, Steve has worked as an independent education consultant, helping schools and trusts prepare for inspection and drive sustainable improvement. He’s known for a practical, straightforward approach that turns inspection frameworks into real action plans.
Steve is a regular contributor to education improvement discussions and conferences.
Graham Whistance
Co-founder & entrepreneur
Graham Whistance is a co-founder and entrepreneur with a track record of building and growing businesses from the ground up. Known for his hands-on, results-driven approach, he has led ventures through key stages of growth, from early-stage development to scaling operations.
Graham brings a practical, commercially-minded perspective to leadership, with a focus on strategy, innovation, and building strong teams. He is passionate about mentoring emerging founders and sharing lessons learned from his own entrepreneurial journey.
